A photo a week in the life of LaLa Photography, using various photographic mediums.
Week Twenty One
I appreciate all mediums of photography and I am amazed at how far technology has come to make this beautiful art so accessible to everyone - DSLR, point and shoot, film and even the unassuming camera phone.
During the week I took the opportunity to venture into my garden, be creative and try something a little different. I believe doing such an exercise is very important as it serves as a 'creative exercise' for the brain.
So these are the result of my creative adventures. I used a combination of DSLR photographs and edited them using various iPhone applications to create a vintage feel. I hope you enjoy them :)
From Where I Stand: freshly mowed grass is wonderful! Straight off the DSLR camera and used the 'Early Bird' filter using the Instagr.am iPhone application. Pardon the unflattering tracksuit pant and sandals that totally don't match ;)
Afternoon Delight: The perfect cure to the dreaded 3:30itis! This coffee and Malt biscuit picture was taken with the DSLR and used the Food and Chromogenic filters in the Lightbox iPhone application.
Dancing Shadows: Weeds are growing through my pavement. From our level looking down, weekds do not look very flattering. However when you bring yourself to its level they can look very pretty, especially when it is kissed by the sun's rays. Similarly to the 'From Where I Stand' image, this image was taken with a DSLR and applied the 'Early Bird' filter using the Instagr.am iPhone application.
