A photo a week in the life of LaLa Photography, using various photographic mediums.
Week Twenty Two
Hello winter! After months of sunshine, winter made a rainy entrance as it started its first day back on the job. Rain, rain, beautiful rain Y
During the last days of autumn we planted a small tree in the backyard. Beside the newly planted tree was a mango tree. "Where are all the mangoes?" my observant son asks, to which my husband lovingly replied, "The trees don't grow fruit during the winter. They will go to sleep and in spring they will start to grow more mangoes then."
So like the mango fruit tree in my garden, I hope to take advantage of the winter weather to rest and recharge, both mentally and creatively. Today the carrier pigeon visited me and delivered some goodies that I was enjoying with some home-made scones and a coffee, with winter's soundtrack of rain playing in the background. These goodies are just some of the many tools I'm using to aid my creative thinking process.
Then come spring and summer I will be ready, just like the mango tree, to bear fruit. I will be recharged and I will bring that creativity into fruition as I create some beautiful photographic memories with you.
